[ENG] Question about Anno 1404 History Edition Modding

Hello all,

Sorry for writing in English, but my german is non-existent :pinch:


The English Wiki for Modding says that it is possible to Mod the game and avoid the Mod detection (section 13).
However, no matter how much I try with RDAExplorer, I can not get it to work.
Has this been fixed in the History Edition?


In short: is it possible to mod Anno 1404 History Edition and still get achievements/medals ?

This looks like cheating. You want to mod your game without knowing the game that it is modded.
As i mention this is not possible. Because you must extract the files to mod them. And so the programm always knews that that are not the original files. You can not pack the modded files in the vanilla files.

Wer also Rechtschreibfehler oder unklare Formulierungen findet, soll bitte versuchen die Grundaussage zu verstehen oder darf sie gerne behalten :)

Hello.
Use the RDAExploer program.
It can decompress rda files, and compress previously extracted files.
