cursor problems on a dual-monitor PC
I'm running 1503 (U.S. version) on a dual-monitor PC, and the cursor isn't constrained to the game. I.e. while in the game, if I move the mouse all the way to the side that matches up with the other monitor, the cursor goes onto the desktop (on the other monitor) instead of scrolling the view.
Is there any way to fix this, so I don't have to disable my extended desktop every time I want to play 1503?

Hi hermit & welcome to the board!
Unfortunately there seems to be no fix for this problem. I have a dual monitor system myself, and using the mouse to scroll causes the same effect you describe.
Maybe you could get used to the cursor keys for scrolling the view. Another work-around would be to run the game in windowed mode.
To do this, right-click the shortcut to start the game and select "Properties" from the context menu. Look for a line that points to the "1503Startup.exe" (for instance: "C:\Program Files\ANNO 1503\1503Startup.exe"), add a /w behind that line and save the changes. From now on, the game will run in windowed mode when you select the shortcut to start it. The size of the window depends on the resolution you selected in the options menu.
Another drawback of this approach is that you have to reduce your desktop color depth to 16bit; otherwise the game won't start at all.
